How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. You can click "contact us", email, text, or call and provide  a brief description of what you are looking for. A member of our care team will reach out to you within one business day.

Do you accept my Insurance?

Teichman Therapeutics is a Private Pay Practice and is considered an out-of-network provider. This means we do not work directly with any insurance plans. We require payment in full at the time of each session. However, we assist with submitting out-of-network claims. If  you have out-of-network benefits, feel free to ask us for more details.

What is your fee ?

The fee for each 45 minute session costs $250 and can be paid at the time of your session via cash, check, Zelle, Cash App, Paypal, and Venmo. We do not accept Credit Card payments at this time. We offer a sliding scale, as well as low cost time slots, for those in need of financial assistance.

I'm new to this, what can I expect for my first session?

Your first session is a time for you and your therapist to get to know one another. You will have the opportunity to talk about your life, challenges, and your history. Your therapist will help guide you in talking about yourself, if you feel a bit nervous starting out. You can expect an attentive and engaged listener who asks sensitive and poignant questions.

What is the cancellation policy at Teichman Therapeutics ?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations or rescheduling done within 24 hours prior to a scheduled session will be charged the full session fee.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship. What you discuss in therapy is kept private, with a few legal and ethical exceptions (e.g., harm to self or others).
