Chaim Teichman, LMHC
Chaim has been involved in psychotherapy for 5 years. He graduated from Long Island University with a masters in mental-health counseling in 2021 and has training in motivational interviewing (MI), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and emotion focused therapy (EFT). He provides individual, family, and relational counseling. Using his knowledge, extensive experience, and various modalities, Chaim tailors a unique therapeutic plan for each client. He is passionate about helping his clients find inner peace, joy and purpose.
Chaim specializes in child and adolescent struggles, sex and drug addiction, trauma, difficult life transitions, couples intimacy and communication, and anxiety disorders. He believes in a collaborative approach to therapy, and gives his clients the necessary tools to succeed.
Chaim's approach is founded on the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is a prerequisite for strong therapeutics results. Chaim works to provide a safe and supportive environment and connects with each client on a personal level. He is compassionate and empathetic, and allows his clients to explore thoughts and feelings without judgement.
Chaim blends his years of corporate management exposure with his clinical experience to create a warm, collaborative ,and growth-oriented therapeutic environment.
